NaNoWriMo and Poetry in the Northwest

October 30, 2011

It’s NaNoWriMo (November 1st) and I’ll be writing a minimum of 50,000 words before December 1st. I’m hoping to do more than that and get a very rough draft of book number 2 in my new Mystery Novel series done (approximately 75,000 words I figure). So that will be my focus.

Yes still some poetry going on—of course. Day of the Dead Reading on November 5th at the Lake City Library 4 p.m. to 5:45. I’m hosting and reading with John Burgess, Judith Roche, Jeanine Hall Gaily, Carolyn Wright, Scott Gallasso and Raul Sanchez (who put this one together). That’s in North Seattle and if you are in the area, come on out for a great FREE poetry reading.

More Updates and poetry news soon. Thanks for reading.
