DAY 18 – NaPoWriMo Prompt for April 18, 2016
Welcome to Day 18 of the NaPoWriMo challenge. Use these prompts to inspire you to write a poem each and every day of April.
You will notice that I’ll be suggesting some new and unusual forms as prompts. These forms have been collected at the shadow poetry site. Since I want to honor copyrights I will be posting links to the site for you to read about the suggested form prompts and see examples of poems written in that form
The Triquatrain form was created by Robert L. Huntsman. It is a quatrain poem in tri-rhyme with a specific rhyming pattern.
For those living anywhere near Western Washington you might want to look at the new Poetry Day of the Week page that you’ll find in the upper right corner under PAGES. A couple of times this month you may also find my Poetry Northwest announcements in between the NaPoWriMo posts.
If you post the poems on your blog or anywhere using this prompt… send me a link.
