NaPoWriMo 23 Prompt for April 23, 2016

April 22, 2016
“Writing is not a matter of time,
but a matter or of space.
If you don’t keep space
 in your head for writing,
you won’t write
even if you have the time.”
Katerina Stoykova Klemer
DAY 23  – NaPoWriMo Prompt for  April 23, 2016
Welcome to Day 23 of the NaPoWriMo challenge.  Use these prompts to inspire you to write a poem each and every day of April.
You will notice that I’ll be suggesting some new and unusual forms as prompts.   These forms have been collected at the shadow poetry site.    Since I want to honor copyrights  I will be posting links to the site for you to read about the suggested form prompts and see examples of poems written in that form
Loop Poetry is a poetry form created by Hellon.  Familiar to other forms, but certainly an interesting variation and not difficult to learn and try.
What’s a Loop Poem?  Click here to get the rules and see examples or go here: http://www.shadowpoetry.com/resources/wip/looppoetry.html
For those living anywhere near Western Washington you might want to look at the new Poetry Day of the Week page that you’ll find in the upper right corner under PAGES.   A couple of times this month you may also find my Poetry Northwest announcements in between the NaPoWriMo posts.
If you post the poems on your blog or anywhere using this prompt… send me a link.
Enjoy!
